Description
Required for an exciting contract in the automotive industry: a Functional Safety Coordinator (SW system) within Automotive/advanced driver assistance systems. A suitable background can be that of a technical project manager, system manger, quality manager or CM lead.
Role:
Act as Functional Safety Coordinator between internal development projects and customer adaptation projects for advanced driver-assistance systems
Ensure timely planning and communication of the Functional Safety artefacts for development projects
Monitor execution of the planned Functional Safety artefacts and execute verification reviews
Support Safety Manager and Quality Manager for confirmation reviews of the Functional Safety artefacts to evaluate conformity with the International Standard Requirements.
Create and deliver Reports towards internal Project Management to highlight the Functional Safety status of specific project
Create structure and predictability, facilitate day-to-day work for functional safety experts and engineers.
Skills:
Engineering degree in relevant domain, typically software or electronics
Experience from planning and coordination in complex organizations
Good technical understanding (software systems)
Strong communication skills. Team player. Flexible. Driven.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience from automotive industry
Background in software or electronics design
Knowledge of Functional Safety standards (eg ISO26262), with on-the-job experience. Preferable holds Safety certification
Experience in Software Quality and process ( eg SPICE, CMMI )
