Your tasks:
- The execution of Group’s Indirect Procurement strategy within the designated region in line with the Director of Procurement’s requirements
- Leading and developing the source market purchasing teams with the designated region
- Responsible for leading the change processes related to SAP SRM (and associated systems) within the central region
- Delivering the ongoing training, communication and system support for central European user base of 4.500 users across 26 different business units
- Delivery of bought in goods and services at the lowest ultimate cost / best business value
- Managing the relationship with regional internal customers to meet / exceed expectations
- Supplier relationship management processes
- Ensuring that all contracts within their teams remits are uploaded onto the Contracts Database
- Supporting and deputising for the Head of Purchasing Central Europe and Director of Operations Procurement wherever required
- Developing and implementing cost reduction and supplier reduction strategies in procurement
Your qualifications
- Strong experience in purchasing team management within Germany
- Demonstrable record in supporting a purchasing system roll out and understanding of post implementation support issues
- Experience of stakeholder management in a complex decentralised global environment with a high pace of change
- Ability to manage and analyse complex data under pressure
- Awareness of change management techniques and conversion into effective delivery
- Multi-lingual, in particular English and German language skill
