Risk Analyst - Contract 6 months Dublin.

My client a global leader in their respected industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Risk Control Analyst to join their Operations Risk team for a contract of 6 months with chance to extend or even go permanent.

You will be required to provide quality assurance and control over Equities Operations & Middle Office key controls and High Risk Processes. You will provide an independent assessment of control and risk issues for Securities Core Trading Operations Risk Leadership team, Equities business & outside Risk organisations. You will collate and analysing risk data including; High Risk Process metrics, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Go to Green plans, Operational Losses, Regulatory submissions, Audit Status reporting. You will act as the day-to-day Risk Analyst for EMEA Settlements, Trades Processing and EMEA Branch offices, providing guidance for all program issues that arise. You will be expected to assist the lines of business with development of control policies and procedures and also assist lines of business in developing SIAI's and coordination of tollgates with Corporate Audit and COO team. Provide independent validation of evidence & issue closure.

Successful candidates will require experience of working in an Operations or Middle Office environment. Risk, Audit or control experience is also desirable. It is essential that you have Risk Analysis skills (data and process). The ability to analyse control process to identify key issues eg review control processes, map out key controls, identify control gaps and make recommendations. You must have the ability to analyse complex data and make an assessment of risk eg review key risk and environmental indicators for a product and determine H,M,L risk status. Review incidents and loss events establish exposure and recommendations for change. You will have ability to influence outside of direct team to facilitate changes to control environment eg through review of incidents and losses. Ability to challenge in a firm but non-confrontational manner. You will have excellent Organisational & Multi-tasking skills to support monthly risk process whilst at same time addressing variety of ad-hoc requests and issues as they arise. Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce accurate and complete analysis. Successful candidates will have product experience, this will include knowledge across operations product processes and control environment (Asset servicing and securities operations). You will also have regulatory environment understanding of the regulatory environment as it applies to operations and specifically for transaction reporting and client money.
