Your role
This is a chance to play a key part in developing our business within our UK Institutional Team or be deployed into a team where your previous skills and experience can be utilised. The team covers - UK and multinational insurers, and the pension arrangement of UK corporates, collaborating with other HSBC functions to achieve net sales and revenue targets.
At the same time as delivering sales, you'll provide clear management information. That means contributing to reporting while observing HSBC policy and procedures. You'll also have the opportunity to recommend improvements to the way we work. We're open to fresh thinking and always ready to innovate.
Your profile
An experienced sales professional, you may have a proven track record in an insurance, Asset Management or other Financial Services industry - where you have worked for an asset manager, investment bank or a consulting firm. Whatever your background, you have tried and tested business development skills in the institutional marketplace and solid sales conversion. A good understanding of the issues facing institutional investors - such as Solvency II capital requirements - will be important.
