Description
A Federal Government Department in Canberra requires multiple ICT Project Managers to support the delivery and management of projects across the ICT Portfolio with a focus in the following areas; Application Development, Post Relocation and Refurbishments, Cyber Security and ICT Infrastructure.
Candidates applying will need to be able to demonstrate their ability/current experience to:
- Follow a PMO Framework and adhere to project templates, processes, tools and technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to develop business cases, project scope and project plans that include an analysis of benefit, cost, schedules and risks, negotiate resourcing availability/schedules and strong interpersonal skills to manage delivery expectations.
- Assign, schedule, review and monitor work to ensure that projects are adequately resourced and completed on scope, on time and within budget.
- Identify, track, monitor and communicate project related risks and issues, scope changes as well as variances and contingencies as required.
- Create and present status reports and committee packs including those required for Project Board/Steering Committee meetings.
- Understand project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile (certifications are desirable).
The contract period is from April 2018 to end March 2019 with extension options of 2*12 months.
The client requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Security Clearance of NV1 or NV2 before commencement.
