Job Description
Solution Designer
4-8 years' experience
- Have hands on experience in developing solution using Informatica TDM 9.7 or 10.x version
- Have sound knowledge on sensitive data analysis and data masking technique
- Experience in developing solution in data profiling using Informatica TDM (Content, meta data, column)
- Experience in developing solution in data subset (using advance rule)
- Experience in developing solution in data generation (developing dictionary files)
- Had exposure in developing custom polices/patterns
- Have experience in using advance rules in Informatica TDM
- Worked on loading data into Informatica Test data warehouse (TDW) and querying TDW
- Had experience in handling performance issue (optimized tuning)
- Had experience in gathering requirement and developing one end to end solution in Informatica TDW for data profiling, data masking, data subset and data generation
- Coordinate and manage relationships with business stake holders and Infrastructure team for database, hardware, operating system and network problems
- Knowledge on Informatica Power center (mapping, transformation, mapplet, session, worklet and workflow)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both IT. and the business
- Has exposure in working in Agile methodology
Role -
- Analyze service request/deployment request for data provision
- Gather detail requirement
- Estimate time for design, development and data provision
- Design solution based on requirement
- Develop solution based on design
- Unit testing and documenting
- Handling data provision
- Document the requirement, design, unit testing and data provision metrics in knowledge base
- Incident management
- Change request for existing solution
- Handling data reset request for existing data provision
- Providing, Phone, email and chat support to end users
- Documenting the issue, resolution and maintaining the Knowledgebase
- Creating and maintaining the knowledgebase about the issues that they are handling.
- Involve TDM architecture discussion
- Involve team meeting and scrum meeting
- Present TDM capability for new business users
- Metrics and reporting
- Should be able to work in an on-site/off-shore model - ensuring seamless communication with the offshore team to achieve service Levels
- Able to work well with little direction and in a team atmosphere
- Ability to triage effectively under pressure
