Implementation Manager - Vendor Risk Management Framework
Alexander Ash are partnering with a 'Top 10' bank in London who have become known as one of the fastest growing Financial Services brands in the world.
They are recruiting within their newly established Non-Financial Risk Management function, responsible for the mitigation of risks related to transaction processing, health and safety, building and IT resilience, business continuity, information security, records management, data management and vendor engagements.
The Role:
As part of the group-wide framework, they require an experienced Implementation Manager to lead in the deployment of their Vendor Risk Management Programme. This individual will be tasked with deploying this part of the framework to a number of stakeholder groups, including Regional Management and their Control Functions.
This programme is designed to assist all business and infrastructure units to identify, assess, mitigate, and track risks associated with the business' portfolio of internal and external service providers. It includes a consistent set of roles and responsibilities which define accountability for Vendor Risk Management Framework and is overseen by the Non-Financial Risk Committee and reviewed periodically by the Management Board.
This will be a six month assignment with possible extension, with a maximum pay rate of £350 a day.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in risk management or related functions within the financial services industry
- Ability to understand and manage risk within the supply chain process
- Third party vendor compliance programme experience
- Experience in managing major change programmes
- Understanding of key regulatory regimes in the region
- Policy and training development expertise
- Excellent understanding of operational risk and regulatory reporting
- Ability to successfully multitask and complete projects within defined deadlines
- Proven ability to build effective relationships, and interact with all levels of the organisation, including business partners
- People Management experience
