Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients.
Based in Milton Keynes on an initial 12 month contract the client are looking for an experienced Financial Business Partner
The role holder will provide Finance Business Partner support to the clients Global services team. The role holder will be responsible for supporting Regional Service Directors (RSD) in the delivery of their financial plans with the production of timely/accurate reporting of actual versus budget. Informative and detailed variance analysis and commentary on financial performance will be provided to the RSDs alongside decision support and financial insight.
As a member of the Global Services team, reporting to the FBP Head, it is essential the role holder is comfortable and confident operating in a Matrix style organisation which involves a substantial element of team working and consulting. The ability to influence, lead and partner key Senior members of the business in developing sound financial evaluation and appraisals of commercial opportunities is essential.
Essential:
*Qualified in a main body accounting qualification eg CIMA, ACCA, ACA with 2+ years PQE
*Previous Finance Business Partnering experience, ideally in a Matrix organisation
*Customer focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organisational levels, including the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues
*Experience of operating in a project accounting environment
*Self-motivated, with the ability to plan and manage own deadlines whilst being flexible to the requirements of the business
*IT literate, in particular strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
*Ability to provide informative commentary on performance, with content tailored to reflect audience requirements
*A blend of skills that go beyond technical aspects of the role including soft skills such as relationship building, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution
Successful Candidates must hold current SC Clearance or above, or be willing to go through the governmental Security check.
