Responsibilities:

The position is for an HRIS Analyst with knowledge and experience with Ultipro Payroll. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for general transactions, configuration, maintenance, and reporting in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other applications. Support includes issue analysis and resolution, table configuration, and mass data updates. Inputs, audits, and maintains employment and other information available in the Company's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Production Support: Provide technical support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, process flaws or test errors; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Test Ultipro modifications/new functionality and document results.

Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports, queries and dashboards utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard and Business Intelligence reports for ongoing customer needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process/improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (eg payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects.

System Maintenance: Lead the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.

Training and Documentation: Create and develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Responds to general and moderately complex inquiries from end-users related to HRIS workflow and troubleshooting, providing resolution and one-on-one training as needed.
EXPERIENCE:

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 years related experience in HR systems and Ultipro
  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll processes and terminology.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Ultipro
  • Advanced skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, Sharepoint, Outlook, Project and report writers (View Point and Crystal Reports are a plus)

  • Experience working on AS400/iSeries and Windows platforms

  • Knowledge of SQL and visual basic

  • Knowledge/familiarity with SDLC, six sigma or other project/process methodologies
