Project Controls Manager - P6, SAP
A Project Controls Manager is required to work on a six month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.
Overview of the Project Controls Manager contract role
To own, plan, deliver and maintain a project control system on the Secondary Propulsion Research and Integration of Technology (SPRINT) contract (part of the overall Maritime underwater futures capabilities programme).
Key skills required for the Project Controls Manager
- Foundation Degree/HNC/HND/Certificate in Project Management or equivalent level of qualification.
- Project control.
- Project management.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder management, including influencing.
- MS Office packages.
- The use of Project Control System Tools including Primavera, SAP and Dassian is desirable but can be taught.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
