An exciting opportunity exists working for one of our clients, a global bank, as they seek to add to their expanding ER team. This role strategically partners the business, Senior Leaders and HR colleagues with a wide range of complex and often high risk people issues; including employment tribunals, grievances, disciplinary, mediation, job security, complex absence cases and settlement agreements where mitigation of risk is critical.
Responsibilities are not limited to but include:
*Maintaining a positive employee relations environment, enabling management capability and translating people metrics
*Remaining a technical expert for high risk people issues and sharing that knowledge where and when needed
*Gathering detailed, pertinent information by conducting investigations, interpreting findings and preparing documentation associated with employment claims; tracking disciplinary actions, absence, performance management and organisational changes.
*Minimising risk through expert interventions
To be considered for this role you will have proven exposure to employment issues and an in-depth knowledge of employment law. You will also have previous experience of working within Financial Services or an in-depth knowledge of Financial Regulations. In addition, you will also have excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills and be comfortable managing complexity, assimilating a number of factors to be able to draw out core issues.
