Sourcing Manager x 2
A large commercial banking client requires 2 x Sourcing Managers to support the delivery of sourcing strategy and sourcing activities. The role is looking at managing various suppliers relationships and sourcing strategies to make sure they are delivering value to the business. The role holder will need to ensure supplier terms are correct, look at implementing new supplier processes, and supplier governance structures. The role will be to support category manager and sourcing activities to make sure processes are streamlined and providing value.
The role location is flexible to London, Halifax or Bristol. The rate varies between £300 and £500 per day depending location and experience.
Additional role responsibilities below;
- Continuously look to deliver value for money services through the proactive identification and delivery of end to end solutions
- Robust client management challenging senior stakeholders and building strong working relationships to identify and implement sourcing initiatives that help drive the strategic agenda
- Lead the strategic sourcing process, providing direction and oversight to leverage the size and scale of the purchasing power through robust contract negotiations and supplier selection and effective commercial management
- Report and track financial benefits versus pipeline and targets, identifying potential risks
- Compliance to all sourcing policies, procedures and systems providing an efficient and auditable sourcing trail that will ensure robust risk management.
