My client an Energy Trading Company based in Pangbourne requires a Systems Integration Manager.
NEXCEL is a new business venture within Castrol that aims to revolutionise vehicle servicing.
At the heart of the NEXCEL system is an easy to change, sealed & reusable oil cell that installs both oil and filter into the engine in one easy step.
The NEXCEL technology will:
- Reduce the environmental impact of transport, travel and vehicle servicing,
- Reduce the hassle of car, truck and machinery servicing for owners and operators.
- Enable used oil recycling.
The technology is applicable to hybrid & conventionally powered passenger cars, commercial vehicles and on & off road machinery and has the potential to grow to be a significant global business.
The NEXCEL business has been established as a stand-alone team fostering a creative & fast paced
start-up style culture which is able to leverage the capability and strength of the larger corporation of which it is part. The business is based at its own office & manufacturing facility in Reading.
This position offers the opportunity to join the NEXCEL business implementation team leading the implementation, establishment & management of key IT systems underpinning the business.
NEXCEL is looking for a candidate who:

Key Results/Accountabilities
The role holder will be responsible for:
- Leading the implementation of key IT systems to support the business including
- NEXCEL ERP system
- SaaS systems to support Business & Engineering release
- Interfacing with NEXCEL's key partners - particularly Supply Chain 4PL and production partners, to ensure an effective end to end systems solution is built to support business delivery. customers.
- Support the NEXCEL site IT infrastructure
- Interfacing with the broader organisation to ensure best practices are followed
- Ensuring the solutions implemented are compliant with my clients policies particularly in terms of Digital Security.
- Champion continuous improvement in NEXCEL's IT systems and the way NEXCEL uses them to maximise collaboration, information sharing and productivity

- Nexcel is a new and forming business with the opportunity to shape processes and ways of working. This can sometimes lead to uncertainty and ambiguity which require the ability to constructively manage in such circumstances.
Experience & Expertise
Nexcel is seeking an individual demonstrating:
- Significant experience in IT system implementation, operation & management
- Experience leading the implementation of cloud based ERP solutions in an SME type environment - specifically Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience with the implementation of SaaS products ideally with the Dassault platforms (CATIA, ENOVIA, 3D experience)
- Experience in managing IT system infrastructure
- Experience in project managing complex cross functional projects & ability to deliver projects to completion through fit-for-purpose project management techniques
- Energy enthusiasm and a drive to deliver
- Good written and aural communication skills
- Good team skills and ability to work closely with colleagues.
