JOB TITLE: 5G Community and Strategy Lead
As a member of the Open Innovation team, you'll be focused on executing programs and partnerships that accelerate Ecosystem in Washington DC as part of a distributed team spread across multiple innovation hubs. The company is leading the industry in developing capabilities that will unlock new opportunities and experiences for consumers and enterprises. In this role, you'll be steering our externally facing innovation programs and events with startups, universities, and partners around Washington DC while feeding insights and partner opportunities back to the business.
JOB DUTIES:
Activities will include:
- Communicating, educating, and demoing various 5G technologies and future capabilities to local partners
- Sourcing a portfolio of local partners based on prioritized opportunity areas
- Developing and managing relationships with key partners, proactively identifying opportunities for new events, programs, or trials to collaborate on
- Attending local events, both at our innovation center and externally (many of which will take place in the evening), and serving as the key representative and evangelist at those events
- Capturing and synthesizing insights from all local events and partners in a comprehensive manner that fits the strategic framework
- Planning logistics for events, challenges, programs, and trials with select partners
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 2+ years of experience within the startup community
- A proven track record of creating tangible outcomes through ecosystem programs with the startup and/or university community
- Existing relationships and ties to the technology and startup community in Washington DC
- The ability to find win-win scenarios with new partners and execute them
- Proven ability to work effectively and independently as part of a remote, distributed team
- Up to 20% travel to NYC and Basking Ridge, NJ will be necessary

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree - MBA preferred but not required
REQUIRED SHIFT:
Standard work day with substantial evening and weekend obligations
