Description
For an international SAP roll-out of one of Q-perior's clients we are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to act as country deployment lead for Italy. The Deployment Manager is responsible for driving the teams to deliver the project scope/timelines/budget within this SAP project. The SAP ERP solution includes the components FI, CO, MM, PM and SD, as well as other non-SAP solutions and the connection to some remaining local systems. The first contract will run from September to the end of the year with a planned extension for 2019.
Tasks
Planning scenarios and project planning
Detail planning of the roll outs
Coordinate the business specialist departments
Communicate with the companies, the central departments of the client
Monitor activities of local companies and business specialist departments
Risk management; detection, description, mitigation
You will need to level activities where needed, negotiate timings and raise issues and risks at each stage of the programme.
Continuously make use of the business sponsors for critical escalations
Meet with Country Sponsor regularly
Decides about planning formats
Align project management topics with the transition team.
Mandatory requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in managing comparably large projects
- Many years of experience in organizing international SAP rollouts
- Fluent English
- Many years of experience in technical stakeholder management at management level
- Ability to get into new environments very quickly
- Enthusiasm for working together in an international team
- Flexibility and willingness to travel (80%) within Europe
- Direct driving of topics and problem solutions
- Participation in the selection of project team members.
