A global Media company are looking for a Finance Manager to work in their EMEA HQ.
This is an opportunity for an individual who wants to take a leading role within a globally recognised Media company.
"The successful candidate will play an integral role in the Monthly accounting close process and develop their knowledge and experience in Corporate Reporting"
To be considered for the role you will need to have:
- ACA qualified (preferred) or equivalent.
- Prepared Group consolidation packages in past roles.
- Knowledge of accounting standards - IFRS, UK and/or US GAAP
- Previous experience performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience working in a large multi-national company.
- Up to date experience in preparing Statutory accounts.
- Media experience/exposure (preferential).
More information about the role:
- Key point of contact for the Management reporting team and non-finance departments to obtain variance explanations and resolve issues.
- The primary purpose is to lead monthly accounting close process across 10+ territories.
- Supporting Group actual and forecast corporate reporting.
- Supporting the Tax activities of all EMEA entities.
- Assisting the Finance Director with maintaining the Internal Control Framework.
- Working closely with the Shared Service Centre.
