Finance Data Analyst
I'm looking for several Finance Data Analysts to join a major insurance business based in Bristol. The analysts will work in a team of analysts and actuaries who are together responsible for designing and building tools to perform experience analysis investigations, including manipulating large volumes of data.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed design and build of tools to perform experience analysis investigations, including manipulating large volumes of data, use of data visualisation tools and statistical techniques.
- Rewrite "Actual, Exposure and Expected" calculations in R programming language.
- Documentation of code.
Person specification:
- Statistical, finance or actuarial background
- Ideally experience of statistical or actuarial programming in R
- Experience of data visualisation tools eg Tableau/Powerpivot
- Strong communication skills
