I am currently looking for 2 metering/measurement engineers for an 18 month Oil&Gas project in Qatar.
One role is senior and the other is intermediate.
For the senior profile applicants must have:
Minimum 10 years' experience in measurement systems.
Experience in implementing royalty, fiscal, custody transfer and allocation measurement practices and a working knowledge of appropriate international standards.
For the intermediate role applicants must have:
Minimum five years' experience in measurement systems.
Experience in implementing royalty, fiscal, custody transfer and allocation measurement practices and a working knowledge of appropriate international standards such as mentioned above.
It is essential candidates have experience in the following standards:
API MPMS, ISO, EI, IP, GPA, GPSA, AGA, ISA, ASTM
The day to day role will entail:
- Witnessing - attend to verification, calibration and certification, site acceptance testing (SAT) and sampling activities on behalf of the customer covering the following as a minimum:
- Ensure that the clients relevant measurement international standards are followed.
- Ensure that the proper equipment is used.
- Collect relevant information related to measurement systems from various operators.
- Generate witnessing reports.
- Assessment
- Perform assessment of the Measurement Systems and provide findings, including reporting of remedial/improvements actions for compliance with QPMG, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, and any other relevant measurement best practice.
Such activities shall include but not be limited to:
- Evaluation of flow measurement and uncertainty calculations
