Description
Scientist with a strong background in cell biology wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in biology or biochemistry
- 3+ years' working experience as a Scientist with a strong background in cell biology
- Profound knowledge of virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, cell-based assays and immunological assays
- A strong molecular biology profile and experience in working with BL-2 products are desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Supervising the technical organisation of a laboratory, including reporting
- Managing data evaluation and documentation while working as part of a bioanalytical group within biologics technical development
- Being responsible for the analysis and characterisation of cell and gene therapy products in early phase clinical development
- Developing and executing methods for the determination of biological activity and purity independently
- Performing various cell culture methods and read out technologies, such as virus titration assays, qPCR, FACS, other cell-based assays and ELISA
