Management Accountant | 12 Months | South East
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to work for a leading Insurance business in the South East. This is a great opportunity for a qualified management accountant who is enthusiastic about reporting, process development and working with the business to drive results.
Management Accountant responsibilities:
- Preparation of subsidiary accounts and liaison with the auditors
- Management and annual accounts and audit for the Group's charity
- Calculation of journals for transfer of companies within the Group
- Initial mapping and upload of new acquisition data to the Group nominal ledger system
- Reconciliation of information from sub groups to the ledger and Group financial statements
- Tracking of project accruals
Management Accountant experience/skill set
- Qualified accountant - ACMA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA .
- Extensive management reporting experience, ideally within a financial services organisation
- Experience of driving through process improvement around reporting
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Advanced excel user
