Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor - Banking - Flexible Working
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor (Contract) to work for one of the UK's leading banks in London. This will be focused on construction fit of office refreshment projects and decommissioning of office space.
This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment.
The successful candidate will work as part of the wider workplace strategy team and report into a Senior Manager with extensive QS experience. The cost manager will be expected to meet and challenge consultants and contractors pricing against the agreed schedule of rates validating scope, quantities and approach.
Skills and Experience:
- Candidates must possess previous experience of undertaking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor role.
- Relevant recent experience of commercial office fit out projects.
- You will also be required to be a good negotiator and build relationships so strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Recently worked in the banking sector and have a good understanding of business transformation/change projects
- It's highly advantageous that candidates have relevant professional qualification such as MRICS or CIOB.
