My client is a payments company looking for a Finance and Business Administrator at a Director level to join their team on a 6 month rolling contract.
The Business Leader for Finance & Planning is responsible for supporting a Global Account Team across a broad spectrum of strategic initiatives and deals while managing and executing existing global agreements; including forecasting and billing requirements as required.
Major Accountabilities:
Planning and Forecasting
- Partner with Regional Finance in development of regional plans and forecasts and then consolidate regional output for global perspective
- Detailed knowledge of active deal terms and performance. Forecasting of deal incentives and rebates is done in the regions with the exception of any/all global agreements
- Understanding of revenue and support by market/region, product profitability and pricing
- Summarize quarterly results and communicate to the Regional Account Teams
- Assist the Global Account Team with researching financial & regulatory issues related to the Account
- Managing all/any Global Account Agreement profitability and planning
- Prepare the monthly rolling 2-year incentive forecast for Regional Finance and forecast to the regions
Management of Agreements:
- Alignment with the Finance team to finalize quarterly performance reporting
- Track, process and facilitate incentive payments under any Global Agreements
- Work with the Global Account Team to update 3-year volume projections on a quarterly basis
- Align with the Regional Finance teams to get quarterly customer billing files in order to compute the core fee rebate credits by market
- Maintain the Global Scorecard that tracks key performance metrics by market3 Data/Analytics/Modeling
Skills/Characteristics & Requirements
- High intellect with good commercial acumen and a creative approach to problem solving and able to communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy and to manage multiple/simultaneous activities in a condensed timeframe.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act as an internal advocate of the Global Account Team.
