Solution architect - Business Intelligence, Big Data, Datalake
As a Solution Architect Big Data & Analyses you will be part of a team of high skilled solution architects, all responsible for their own domain. You will be leading the strategic domain of Big Data & Analytics. There is plenty of work to do - build a new Datalake platform, create strategy on migration of the Legacy ones, working to implement really innovative solution that the business stakeholders demand.
Hard-skills
*Experience in below technologies preferably using Hortonworks Data Platform
oHadoop/HDFS, Hive LLAP, Spark, Zeppelin;
oReal-time processing using Storm, Spark Streaming and Kafka;
oAtlas, Ranger and Knox;
oAmbari Administration;
oSolr with Banana Dashboards;
oElasticsearch with Kibana Dashboards;
oHbase and Phoenix;
oExperience in BI tools like PowerBI and AtScale;
*Knowledge of Telecoms domain preferred but not necessary, solid experience of BI/Data from other industries is essential though.
*Have experience in building and owning the architecture of an enterprise datawarehouse
*Have created AS-IS and TO-BE vision of a BI domain for an enterprise
*Mentored, coached, shared knowledge with Delivery teams, acting as de-facto technical lead
*Liaised with business stakeholders and guide business analysts to capture the requirements in a way they can be transformed to technical requirements
Other:
*Are eager and able to understand our current landscape of BI/Data, upstream (source) and downstream (consuming) applications, high-level and low-level;
*Enjoy creating thorough solution architecture design specifications that deliver value to customers;
*You know when you are right, you can let know of your opinion and have a healthy debate, challenging the consensus, if needed.
*You can guide our delivery (development) and operations teams; they are a techy bunch, so you should be able to earn respect from them!
*Enjoy interacting with multiple stakeholders, including Business on requirements;
*Can educate all parties of the solution, keeping track of the delivery and making sure it happens as per design.
As an architect, you own it, you ensure that the solution you work on is a great one for our customers and the business.
