Project Manager
Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a dynamic team and work on high profile enterprise projects.
You will be responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities within the project lifecycle (initiation/planning/definition/execution/closing), develop project scope and objectives, work with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project, develop and revise detailed project plans and budget forecast, manage interdependencies between program work-streams, manage resource availability and allocation, proactively drive risk and issue management, produce reports about project status & metrics to stakeholders, manage project variables, measure project performance, and manage changes in project (scope, schedule, costs). You must handle changes as they arise, keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed deliverables and benefits.
You will be working in an open (no cubes or offices) Agile and collaborative environment that is high energy and very fast paced.
This is a 6 month contract position with potential option to extend or convert based in the Perimeter area. Exciting opportunity to make an impact on mission critical and high profile projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years as a Project Manager on enterprise and complex projects
- Strong experience working with the Business
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience delivering large scale complex programs to multiple stakeholder groups
- Agile
- Understanding of software delivery lifecycle methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills
- High ENERGY and outgoing personality
- Consultative and collaborative personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Big 4 or other Consulting experience
- Experience working with offshore development and testing partners
- Insurance experience
- PMP
- Scrum
