Environmental Health and Safety
An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join an innovative technology company in their Gas Measurement Instruments division.
In this role you will be responsible for successfully transitioning the site to new Environment, Health and Safety Standards, then updating and maintaining them in line with the parent company.
Working closely with the leadership team you will need to update, maintain and audit certification standards ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Responsibility and accountability for Environmental Health and Safety on site
You will be tasked with providing EHS expertise throughout the site and your key responsibilities will include transition, risk assessments, incident investigations and assisting with relevant training needs.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
Depth of EHS knowledge within a manufacturing environment
Communication, negotiation and tenacity
NEBOSH in OHS
An environmental qualification would be advantageous
12 month contract, around £22ph.
