Description
Looking for an experienced SC cleared Commercial Officer to undertake a range of commercial activities including contract management of suppliers and competitive tender exercises and to support the overall provision of a commercial service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake preprocurement analytical and planning activity.
- Engage with the wider business (internally and externally with partners such as CCS and wider government departments) to deliver procurements that meet agency requirements.
- Deliver tender and mini-tender exercises using electronic (such as Bravo) and paper based systems in accordance delegated authorities and agreed policies and procedures.
- Delivery of compliant routes to market with established contracts, identifiable savings and supporting governance mechanisms.
You will have:
- A proven procurement background, preferably in the public sector.
- Hands on application of Cradle to grave procurement exercises.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience of analysing information from a range of sources.
- Experience of effectively working as part of a team.
- Proven experience of administration, customer/service delivery.
- Experience of esourcing tools and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Project.
