Job Description:
The client is engaging into a review program of its current Back Office and Finance Systems practices through the implementation of a Global ERP and Core Models on Finance/Supply chain suite.
The Back Office and Finance/Supply chain Systems Transformation program aims at:
o Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with Analytics
o Common analytics by GBU and for Global functions to improve performance and cost management
o Transversal data consolidation as well as more granular analyses
o Common budget tools by GBU
- Facilitating a seamless integration of planning and actual data setting-up automation in reporting to enable Global Shared Services (SBS)
o Support SBS strategy by implementing an end-to-end approach (eg P2P fully covered by integrated Group solutions from eBuy to AP Invoicing, T&E, etc.)
o Opportunity to consolidate new activities in Shared Services (eg Master Data Management, Credit Management) and to develop global Shared Services organization models (eg T&E)
o Support reporting factories
o State-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user's experience
o Major changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at once
o One source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control framework
o Improved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodology
JOB SUMMARY:
ITS Platform Management Expert is responsible for the technical updates (such as upgrades and patches) and BASIS activities related to the platform along with connected systems such as BW, BI4, GTS, GRC etc.
He/she will work closely with ITS IS teams to coordinate the platform management activities that will be done by ITS IS team.
He/she will also work with external partner teams during the implementation and rollout phase of the project.
He/she will make sure to keep the product availability Matrix in alignment for S/4, HANA and other related technologies for SHIFT.
The Platform Management expert needs to be up to date with SAP product release strategy and should be able to plan the activities around it for all phases of the project.
He/she should create the overall system maintenance plan from application perspective.
During execution phase, he/she will put in place quality gate to ensure that implementation partner follow the define rules.
He/she will drive the implementation partner activities in his domain area and will be responsible for the deliverables.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design:
Create the planning related to platform maintenance from BASIS and system version point of view
Design, and coordinate with ITS IS to create the BASIS best practices documents for SHIFT
Work with SAP to get educated on SAP HANA, S/4 and other technologies needed for SHIFT
Liaise with ITS IS to formulate the project plan for platform management stream
Implementation and support:
Organize and execute Knowledge transfer to implementation partner on design and requirements.
Work closely with the implementation partner and lead the stream for all platform management activities
Set quality gates to ensure implementation partner is following agreed rules and manage the project plan with deliverables and timelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Knowledgeable in SAP Basis and platform management
Knowledgeable in different application parameters related to operations and performance
Experience and working knowledge in SAP life cycle projects
Experience of projects in complex and international environment
A good track record in SAP projects
At ease with Microsoft Office tools, and in general with IS tools.
