Microwave Design Verification Engineer

A Microwave Design Verification Engineer with testing is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Edinburgh.

This is a long term contract requirement working on RADAR technology.

Overview of the Microwave Design Verification Engineer contract role

As a RF/Microwave Design Verification Engineer you will work within the AESA Core Delivery Team in Edinburgh to carry out and support development Module and MMIC device RF test at various levels of assembly; wafer, ceramic mount, plastic component and module assembly level. You will work within the AESA CDT alongside MMIC and RF Assembly design team, delivering design solutions for RF TRM/C and PCA assemblies into key AESA programmes.

Key skills required for the Microwave Design Verification Engineer

You should be Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering (preferable) or related science (eg Physics) with specialism in RF Microwave electronic circuits.

You should be experienced at an engineering level in test of Microwave circuits and sub-systems. You must be familiar with S-parameter manipulation.

The role is based in Edinburgh - commutable from Dundee, Perth, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Glasgow
