Our high profile bank based in Edinburgh requires an Senior reconciliations Analyst for 6 months.

Transfer Agency is a part of CSD (Client Service Delivery). Transfer agency and Alternative Investment Services provides comprehensive administration services for, funds of funds, private equity and real estate funds. The organisation also provides sub accounting, which is a key offering in the traditional asset servicing investor record keeping space. Our team provides multi-currency and multilingual capabilities for offshore portfolios, assists global investors in addressing multi-jurisdictional regulatory, tax and currency requirements and delivers fund accounting, investor servicing, fund order processing, tax and regulatory reporting services.

Job Title: Senior reconciliations Analyst

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £Attractive + 5% annual bonus & attractive Benefits

Interview Structure: 1 stage interview

Start: September (allows for CRB and general checks to complete)

Your duties and responsibilities:

You will review the day-to-day operations of a small- to medium-sized client processing support team that handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries and problem resolution.

  • Manage the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks.
  • Serves as first line supervisor for assignment of tasks and resolution of issues.
  • Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards, and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Provides product knowledge and technical assistance on moderately complex problems to do with reconciliations, cash management, money transfer, pricing, Asset services and investment queries.
  • Acts as the teams initial point of contact for issues requiring escalation. Instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of client processing analysts.
  • Helps develop and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Desired skills and experience

  • Substantial experience of dealing with technical queries.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services, Asset management or Investment management would be ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Proven experience of leading and supporting a team
  • Product knowledge and understanding in a relevant area
