Description
Manual Test Engineer with profound SQL, API and Web service knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Practical knowledge and experience in SQL, API and Web service testing
- Skillset in Test automation is advantageous
- Competency of Python along with JIRA and Agile Testing (Scrum) is a big plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing in accordance with test strategy, testing standards, templates and test plan as well as ensuring defect management, reporting on test progress and providing effort estimation
- Conducting tests and documents, logs test results and defects in addition to specifying, refining and executing test cases and presenting evidences
- Developing test cases and reporting on execution along with fulfilling Functional Testing to assess for Accuracy, Suitability, Interoperability, Functional, Accessibility
- Executing regression testing for project, product and Production Readiness Verification as well as creating test data and ensuring testing environment version control
- Embedding Risk Awareness by designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation
