Job Description
To deliver the end to end Contract Management processes from mobilisation to contract completion for high value, complex equipment, systems and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust sourcing and negotiation strategies
- Own, Identify and manage Risks & Opportunities across the category
- Drive strategy implementation and sustain optimal service delivery to programmes
- Identify, prioritise and lead Value Engineering/Cost Reduction activities
- Undertake Portfolio Analysis to ensure category, contract and supplier strategies are supported and business relationships/contractor performance is optimised
- Facilitate supplier performance reviews, prioritise, approve and ensure delivery of continuous improvement Initiatives
- Analyse bid award recommendations and award contracts in line with CRB activity
The Individual
- Experience of pre contact award activities
- Demonstrable track record of management of RFQ/Tender process
- Sound knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions and their application
- Previous experience in the use of e-Sourcing toolsets
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven track record of managing similar contracts, delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
- Good stakeholder management and ability communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to identify and manage Risks & Opportunities
- Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise as appropriate
Strong MS Office skills
