Workload Forecasting Manager
Job Purpose
To create and track progress against multiple customer installation plans, matching customer demand to engineer availability throughout the UK to ensure Smart meets individual customer (energy suppliers) requirements and delivers at an aggregate network level against internal Smart business plan targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with our Business Development Team, Service Delivery Team and Customer Relationship Team to understand customer demand and engineer capacity to deliver against that demand (long, medium and short term forecasting)
- Creating customer installations plans at both an aggregate network level and at an individual customer (energy supplier) level, incorporating all planned and reactive work types
- Sharing plans with the Customer Relationship Teams to enable onward communication of the plans and progress against them with our customers
- Sharing the plans with our Service Delivery Teams so they can be executed via our Smart Centre and Service Partners
- Tracking and reporting progress against all of the plans on a weekly basis and making the necessary adjustments to ensure successful performance against plans

What we are looking for:
Building installation plans, managing and executing the plans.
Agreeing target with energy supplier of how many installations per region
Calculating how many engineers are needed for installations and where and liaising with another team to arrange for the engineers to be available in each region
Responsible for stock control - so background in manufacturing/operational background
