We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager for one of our leading renewable energy clients. If you will be available from approx..17th September 2018 for a 6 months freelance contract role with the opportunity to extend further thereafter. This is a Full time role to work from our client's prestigious office in London, however, the Consultant would be required to travel to the client's offices in Denmark on a regular basis if you are interested, please read on.Job description:
- To implement and drive risk management in the project in compliance with our client's policies.
- Prepare the risk management plan and strategy for the project and setting up the risk register, the response plan templates and other documentation.
- To facilitate and follow up on risk responses planning and support management in risk decision-making.
- Train risk owners in risk management, where required, and proactively work in the project teams to develop risk mitigation actions aiming to reduce project risk exposure.
- Identify best practice and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools and templates.
- The Consultant will also communicate the risk strategy within the project and to Senior Management and must be able to undertake risk modelling using Monte Carlo simulations with regard to provide CAPEX, OPEX regulatory and lifetime structures as well as price structures.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc or other degree in providing strong foundation in statistics or decision theory.
- Must be a competent risk manager with competence equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional).
- Have relevant work experience from the wind industry or the construction industry and experience from a similar position and from working in a project Matrix organisation.
- Have a systematic approach to your work and can deliver high quality solutions using the appropriate tools and competencies.
- Must be an excellent communicator.
The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.
