Description
Our client are looking for a Finance Officer for up to 12 months on a contract basis.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will oversee the provision of a range of services including purchase, sales and general ledger and contribute to the clients financial operational plan.
Key duties will include:
- Overseeing processing, analysis and reconciliation of income and expenditure and month end close
- Overseeing reporting and monitoring of creditors/debtors and debt management processes
- Overseeing cash handling and banking including bank reconciliation processes
- Management reporting in accordance with relevant reporting cycles
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with various departments providing advice and guidance on finance related issues, policies and procedures
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within financial and related systems
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Experience in working within a finance environment
- Experience in reconciliation and financial analysis
- Experience in excel and IT accounting systems
- Experience working within a finance department
