Description

Millennium Consulting, the global finance transformation consultancy requires the services of a highly experienced, delivery focussed Finance Systems Project Manager to manage the implementation of Great Plains Dynamics in the UK. To be considered you will need 10 years end to end finance systems implementation experience (Navision, Dynamics, Coda, SunSystems, SAP, Oracle, Lawson, Walker etc.) and you will have a track record of successful project delivery working with stake holders, software vendors, users and IT partners.

Key requirements
10 years' experience delivering Finance Software/ERP projects (end to end - full project life cycle)
Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality using project management processes and tools including risk management, financial management and quality assurance
A technical understanding of IT infrastructure and technology development/deployment preferably in web/cloud based solutions
Understanding of system architectures, data strategies, upgrade strategies and cutover planning
Managing the requirement gathering and definition process
Managing the design of a new chart of accounts
Managing large and complex change projects and programmes involving business processes, technology, data, and business reporting
Ability to motivate project teams in a Matrix managed environment
Extensive experience managing a broad range of stakeholders
Ability to facilitate project meetings - monitor costs, timescales and resources used and take remedial action if these slips.
Production of technical, functional, training, communications and other deliverables as required
Knowledge and experience managing test phases
Demonstrating a hands-on approach and willingness to take on a range of technical challenges
Experience transitioning implementation to BAU
A proven ability to resolve issues swiftly and decisively whilst safeguarding standards and procedures
Proven experience of using and leading change management activities including change impact assessment, stakeholder management, managing resistance, building change capacity, designing and defining roles and responsibilities.
Someone with drive and enthusiasm who demonstrates accountability and a collaborative approach
Ability to run highly effective content rich interactive workshops
Management and influencing skills with experience of working with senior level stakeholders Excellent communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organisation
Cultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions successful in demanding environments.
