Our client are looking for a Financial Accountant for an initial 3 month period.
Reporting into the Financial Manager, some of your key duties will include:
- Collate information required by external tax advisors in relation to VAT inspection
- Assist the financial services team in implementing new methods
- Review expenditure and split between capital and revenue as per the consolidated budget guidance.
- Analyse ledger postings and prepare journals to transfer costs to separate ledger
- Prepare various capital reports as directed by Capital and resources planning manager
- To ensure appropriate compliance with all aspects of governance, including risk management and audits and compliance requirements
- Assist with transfer of historical files from shared drives to data repository
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Part qualified accountant or equivalent
- Knowledge of VAT accounting
- 3 years relevant accountancy experience
