Compliance Manager - Banking
A leading Retail Bank currently require a Compliance Manager for an initial 4 month contract. This role is based in Chester, with flexible working available and is paying up to £550 per day.
Role Purpose
To provide regulatory support for products including bank accounts and overdrafts, credit cards and loans, and cash savings and foreign exchange services. To ensure that the banks business conducts its activities in accordance with regulatory and group standards.
Knowledge
- A good knowledge of the FCA Handbooks, Payment Services Regulations, Consumer Credit Act and/or Lending Standards
- Retail banking products,
- Excellent Payment/Accounts knowledge
Experience
- Experience in providing guidance to management within a compliance function.
Skills
- Well-developed negotiation, influencing and communication skills
- Able to analyse complex legislation and regulations
- Excellent negotiation skills and building effective stakeholder relationships.
