Description

For our life-science client we are looking for a:

HR Accountant Specialist

Start date: October 2018

Duration: 6 months + possible extension

Location: Fribourg, Switzerland

Major Accountabilities:

°Perform the balance sheet account reconciliations of allocated accounts and ensure timely resolution (including escalations) and clean of overdue items identified.

°Proactively review accounts to ensure all financial transactions are valid and recorded to ensure accuracy of reported data

°Perform period-end closing and reporting in accordance with local laws

°Assures correct valuation and completeness of all assets and liabilities

°Ensure proper functionality and process linkages from/to other systems

°Review and/or record requested company cross-charges and manual journal entries including proper documentation thereof

°Performs special projects on ad hoc basis

Education:

(minimum/desirable)

-University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or alike

-Lean/ Six Sigma Certified preferred

Languages:

-MUST: English (written and spoken)

- GOOD TO HAVE: German / French preferred

Experience:

-3-5 years in finance/accounting related roles, with in-depth functional expertise

-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization

-SAP knowledge

-Good people skills
