Description
Deputy Director of Financial Services - London - 6 months - £490 a day inside IR35
You will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional accounting team, capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation, ensuring that statutory and financial reporting needs are met.
You will be a valued member of the Financial Services management team providing insight, opinion and adding value to the overall team work flows and deliverables.
You will provide managerial and professional leadership to staff in Financial Services and ensure collegiate support and financial guidance to new initiatives and funding streams. You will also develop and drive strategy within the directorate.
Experience Required
* Fully qualified accountant
* Experience of financial accounts and audit (preferable if experience of service auditor reporting)
* Experience of business development
* Essential to have experience of managing a large team of accountants and delivery of accounts
* NHS experience required
