Consolidation Manager (m/f)

Main tasks:
  • Manage processes and planning to prepare the Group consolidated financial statements in line with the requirements set out by the group and its auditors (3 audited perimeters):
  • Perform consolidation procedures and prepare group financial statements with notes and supporting working papers for the auditors
  • Prepare financial packages forms and instructions
  • Review auditors' correspondence (highlights memorandums and management letters) and drive and implement formal follow-up with companies
  • Consult and liaise with in-house professionals and external consultants to ensure that all expertise is applied and Used appropriately
  • Coordinate audit process, working closely with auditors, ensuring they are provided with required information and clarifying any issues they bring forth
  • Ensure that all accounting and reporting issues are identified early, recommended solutions appropriately discussed, fully documented and approved by appropriate management early
  • Prepare financial analysis and additional financial information for management & shareholders as requested
  • Based on a detailed project plan with milestones, ensure the new standard is implemented in the Group for a first reporting in January 2020
  • Design new policy and update group accounting policies (US GAAP) with the new standard, coordinate with external auditors, communicate to operating and financial management through trainings (webinars)
  • Prepare an Impact assessment: validate the collected data, understand the potential impacts on the business, on the companies’ performance and forecasting processes and propose appropriate solutions on key judgmental areas
  • Prepare the accounting entries and related disclosures to be reflected in the Group Financial Statements
  • Evaluate the implementation of an IT tool for monitoring the lease contracts
  • Work in collaboration with IT team for the implementation in the Group reporting and Consolidation tool SAP-BPC


Main qualifications
  • Graduate – University degree (or equivalent), major in finance, business administration or accounting
  • CPA is a plus
  • Strong experience in a consolidation department in a multinational with high level involvement in all aspects of a group financial statement closing process
  • Strong technical Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP) & Consolidation knowledge
  • Strong knowledge on SAP-BPC v7.5 / v10 (or other consolidation tool) and good Excel skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus (French / Spanish)
