Location: Barrow - Commutable from Kendal, Lake District, Carlisle
Duration: 12 months
Rate: £56.45 per hour
Clearance: SC Clearance (or willing and eligible to undergo)

Our client, a global organisation, is currently looking for a Principal Qualification Planning Engineer to take responsibility for supporting the generation of Integration and Qualification Plans. The successful Principal Qualification Planning Engineer will have demonstrable experience of DOORS, strong stakeholder management experience and proven knowledge of Systems Engineering techniques and practices. The role of Principal Qualification Planning Engineer will also require excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively collate and analyse Design Integration Risks and proven experience of challenging deliverable timescales. Candidates applying for the role of Principal Qualification Planning Engineer must also be comfortable and confident with Scenario Analysis and Rationalisation.
Essential skills:
- Demonstrable experience with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System), SpiraTest, Avolution or equivalent requirement management systems and related activities
- Extensive experience with Use Cases and 'end performance' test requirements
- Substantial experience with developing Qualification and/or Integration Plans
- Ability to collate and analyse Design Integration Risks
- Prior Scenario Analysis and Rationalisation Experience
- Previous experience of stakeholder management
Desirable:
- A good working knowledge of Systems Engineering techniques and processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to write reports
