Interim Standard Costing Project Accountant - Wolverhampton/Northampton - £ LTD - 6/9 Months.
My multi-site manufacturing client is looking for a specialist in Standard Costing to run a significant project for them across their multi-site business. Focused on contract profitability the role will suit a highly commercial candidate probably from a Manufacturing/Engineering discipline.
Role responsibilities:
- Overview current Standard Costing process
- Overview Cradle to grave contract profitability
- Develop the team of cost accountants
- Review current Standard Costing System
- Implement variance analysis across Standard Costing
- Investigate anomalies and implement process change
- Develop and deliver training material
- Develop and improve the Standard Costing process policy
- Support site management around month end and budget setting using Standard Costing
Role requirements:
This role would suit a candidate who has managed a similar project historically. Ideally you would be able to travel between Wolverhampton and Northampton but if you only had proximity to one or the other you could still be considered. Candidates who are able to start quickly will be fast tracked.
