Location: Solihull - Commutable from Birmingham, Worcester, Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £21.22 per hour

Our client, a global organisation, is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to take responsibility for performing varied, moderately complex accounting activities. The successful Staff Accountant will have demonstrable experience with preparing financial statements, strong stakeholder management experience and proven knowledge of Accounting processes. The role of Staff Accountant will also require excellent math computation skills, the ability to effectively manage data within Microsoft Office and proven experience of analysing financial reports and records. Candidates applying for the role of Staff Accountant must also be comfortable and confident with regularly using software packages utilised by Accounting.
Essential skills;
- Demonstrable experience with preparing and analysing management reports and financial reports and records
- Proven experience with advising on correct general ledger accounts for transactions
- Previous experience of stakeholder management
- Extensive experience with reviewing reconciliations
- Ability to prepare financial statements
Desirable;
- A good working knowledge of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and FASB (Financial Accounting Standards) regulations and procedures
- Experience within Accounting
- Substantial experience with Microsoft Office
