I am recruiting for a number of Commercial Managers to be based in Leeds.
These roles are working for the public sector and do fall inside IR35 so you would have to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
You will be responsible for leading the strategy and implementation for delivery of the next generation contracts - you must have experience of this.
You will lead lot level call off procurements with responsibility for all commercial activity involved in these from the new Framework.
You will manage a variety of call off procurements that deliver measurable value for customers.
You will also comply with all Departmental controls relating to commercial practice and otherwise, including strict adherence to delegated authorities, and ensure that staff do the same.
You must be comfortable engaging with challenging stakeholders to develop procurement strategy and capture requirements.
Experience of working on government procurement projects is essential.
If you have worked on Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) procurements that would be highly desirable.
