Job Description

The Change Manager is a communicative and analytical strong professional with affinity/experience in process design and SAP projects. For Nigeria transition period we are recruiting for change/transition support for the last phase of the project, as the business change is large compared to the expedited schedule. The Change Manager has a deep understanding of key business processes, template solutions, change management approaches and adult learning concepts. In this role you act as trustworthy advisor with a strong relationship with the user community, middle management and cross business area peers. With strong advisory (consultancy) and interpersonal skills, you are able to motivate and engage others, which results in effective/efficient training and a high level of knowledge transfer, process adoption and performance.

Job Requirements

You have/are:

  • A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in project teams.
  • Experienced in change management; understands the roles of change leaders versus change enablers.
  • Experience in working in projects and Matrix organization.
  • Experience in SAP implementation projects.
  • Able to communicate to the point and in line of need of target group (management, project team members and work floor).
  • Experience with management of extensive training programs.
  • Experience or strong affinity with (end2end) business processes; preferably in consumer goods environment.
  • A mindset of getting it done and getting it Embedded.
  • Structured, planning, analytical, flexible, quick learner, proactive, solutions oriented.

General Requirements

  • Able to work in Nigeria, area of Lagos, without restrictions.
  • Willingness to travel (within own country and abroad if required).
  • Team player with the ability to work independently as well as in project teams.
  • Good communicator and listener (listen to the customer's needs).
  • Change/transformation capabilities.
  • Structured, planning, analytical, flexible, quick learner, proactive, solutions oriented.
  • Experience in large scale implementations in corporate environments and a solid understanding of the business direction, an overall view of the "big picture", and a good knowledge of the business being impacted by the project's implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Main focus of the change manager will be on: Business Risk assessment, High level cut-over strategy (Time-table), Cut-over weekend plan, Training follow-up/check, DIAL (DayInALife real live simulation) preparation, DIAL Execution and Clean policy, control Tower & run book
  • Part of transition management team
  • As a Change Manager you are able to work in a complex field of stakeholders and are able act pro-active towards them.
  • You have the ability and determination to influence laterally within the organization.
  • You can ensure fast learning/actioning on the organisation specific change deliverables.
  • As a Change manager, you will be in charge of stakeholder mapping, communication, change action plans and training.
  • Support the change owner and the local team with creating the right conditions for the business transformation and with execution of the change and making it stick.
  • In this role you will contribute to preparation and execution of a business readiness plan.
