Description
Our client, a financial services organisation based in Glasgow, require the services of a contract Assurance Management consultant for an initial 6 month piece of work. This role will form part of the Enterprise Assurance Team within the wider Customer Services area of the organisation and will be responsible for leading assessment and assurance activities over enterprise processes, key control frameworks and customer outcomes. This includes a number of efficiency, testing and assessment methodologies primarily created and deployed to provide assurance that activities undertaken are within set risk appetite limits.
In order to be successful in this exciting new opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
*Demonstrable experience within Risk or Assurance management roles - ideally in the financial services sector
*Strong knowledge and understanding of risk/control, process and customer outcome focused frameworks
*Demonstrable understanding of risk management policies, frameworks and methodologies (ideally and understanding of Business Resilience frameworks)
*Experience of leading and carrying out independent assurance initiatives
*Have a strong understanding of regulatory environments
