Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist on an initial 12 month contract. You will be leading and/or supporting the development, planning and implementation of procurement commodity strategies; driving value for money improvement through the provision of market and project analysis and support for the procurement processes.
Essential skills:
* Experienced at operating within complex stakeholder environments with demonstrated procurement credibility.
* Demonstrated ability in the compilation, negotiation and ongoing management of contracts
* Proven track record in the delivery of procurement projects and programmes.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of the full end-to-end strategic procurement process, including sourcing and tendering, supplier management and negotiation.
