Description

Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Location: Havant

Duration: 6 month

The Role

As Marketing Data Analyst, you will work alongside the wider Marketing team to help define and implement targeted and sequenced campaign data selections and campaign optimisation processes. This will include the deployment of a variety of propensity to buy and segmentation models, along with the application of appropriate and measurable test plans. You'll be accountable for driving the adoption of best practice campaign strategies using Siebel Campaign Management.

Some of your other accountabilities will include;

  • Acting as an internal data champion within the Marketing team, offering advice and support where necessary.
  • Interpreting data briefs, extracting data sets and creating campaign outputs
  • Contributing to the development of a centre of excellence, utilising Siebel Campaign Management and marketing automation tools, such as Eloqua and Oracle BICs.
  • Collaborating with marketing communications managers to develop and apply touch cadence rules, ensuring customers receive the optimum number of communications and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Monitor data quality identifying potential areas for improvement and input into the improvement process.
  • Create and maintain accurate process documentation to aid campaign delivery and adhere to compliance requirements.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of working in an operational database marketing environment developing and implementing campaign selections across multiple channels.

You should be comfortable operating in an environment of significant business change and be capable of working alongside Marketing Agencies to determine customer journeys and target groups for campaigns.

Experience of working with Siebel or a similar campaign management tool, for example IBM Unica, along with strong SQL skills will be essential.

An understanding of how to implement testing and measurement strategies will be necessary, and you should also have knowledge of propensity modelling and segmentation and how to deploy these in Campaign Management tools.

You will need strong written and verbal communication skills and a high attention for detail.

Exposure to analytical tools and experience of marketing automation would also be advantageous.
