Finance Analyst
GSK Brentford
6 Month Contract
Pay: Up to £22 per hour
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the day to day running of internal processes and payments supporting disclosure requirements
To provide excellent daily internal customer support on queries and questions relating to these key processes
Responding to phone calls and emails from Healthcare Professionals and Organisations in a timely manner, ensuring the most appropriate contact is resolving the enquiry
Responsible for training within the team and wider business is up to date and clearly communicated, for these key processes
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain knowledge of the Payments & Transparency Team's systems and processes to be able to fulfil standard tasks and provide support at peak demand across the team.
Responsible for ensuring payments, vendor set ups, due diligence and consent requests are managed in a timely efficient manner
Cross functional working across UK Pharma, Ireland and other GSK directorates to align with global ways of working and ABPI code requirements
Responsible for answering internal and external queries (via phone and email) and for bringing the query to satisfactory resolution
Responsible for Raising purchase orders/goods receipts/manual payments via the internal Finance system (SAP/CERPS)
Responsible for preparation of required reports and uploading to the relevant GSK UK Pharma Intranet sites and review of reports prepared by GSK's Knowledge Centre
Responsible for driving governance and adherence to processes whilst ensuring accurate Back End monitoring to meet internal audit requirements for Healthcare Professionals and Organisations
Assist Payments and Transparency Manager or Pricing Director with other ad hoc requests and special projects as required
Support continuous improvement strategy within the Team and broader Finance Department.
Ideal candidate
Pharmaceutical industry knowledge
Experience of CERPs or other finance systems
Experience of customer service skills
Experience of compliance
Understanding of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Disclosure UK
Proven oral and written communication skills, including: telephone, 1:1, group meetings, voicemail and e-mails
Working with defined processes using custom made IT applications (CERPS, Veeva, IMail, Eforms, Survey Monkey)
Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) Code of Practice awareness and understanding
Ability to identify issues and implement appropriate improvements
Experience of using Microsoft Office applications ( Word, PowerPoint and Excel )
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage or escalate difficult conversations
Ability to work unsupervised with clearly defined processes
Evidence of flexible thinking and ability to adapt to a changing environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines with high levels of personal organisation
Experience of successfully working as part of a team
