Job title: Systems Engineer - Test & Evaluation Systems
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: Negotiable
6 months initial contract
Key accountabilities:
- Working flexibly as part of a small team delivering full life cycle Engineering development to support customers.
- Analysing customer requirements and translating them into logical system requirements and constraints.
- Developing, documenting and implementing a solution that meets the needs of the project for time cost and quality.
- Supporting the procurement activities.
- Support the project manager in the identification and management of risks and opportunities.
Experience and qualifications
- Degree Level qualification or equivalent
- CEng or equivalent
- 7 - 10 years plus relevant experience in engineering/systems engineering
Particular skills/experience required
- Ability to produce relevant high-level systems engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of and experience in working in maritime or other complex system development.
